Eye Brightening Trio

Eye Brightening Trio

We all have that one area on our face that we focus on the most for slowing down the formidable aging process. For me, it is my undereyes.

I tend to show exhaustion, aging, lack of care, etc. in my under eye area. I am constantly on the hunt for the best brighteners, concealers, and tricks to lessen the dark undereye circles that have been genetically handed down.

But alas! I have found three products that when used together, seem to brighten my under eyes like no other. I am in LOVE with these products when used together so I thought I would share them with you!

  1. On a clean face, apply our crown favorite Refine Eye Serum to both under eyes and eyelids. One pump should be sufficient to treat both eye areas. Once you have applied the serum around both eyes, let it dry before applying the next step. The Refine eye serum has 3% caffeine for depuffing, an algae extract for temporary firming, and 3 peptides for softening fine lines and wrinkles. Think of the step as the “primer” necessary to prevent the next two products from settling into fine lines and wrinkles, causing unnecessary an even more aged look.
  2. Colleen Rothschild Illuminating Tinted Eye Cream is my new best friend. This eye brightening cream is a powerhouse for lightening the undereye area and setting a nice layer of coverage before applying concealer. A little goes a long way, so one full pump is enough for me to treat both under eye areas. I apply in an upside down triangle underneath my eye to get full coverage of any darkness. Note: this cream tends to be a little heavier in my opinion, so “priming” the under eye area with the Refine eye serum is an absolute must for this cream to layer beautifully and not cause skin creasing.
  3. Makeup Forever Full Coverage Concealer has been my go to for undereye concealer for 7 years. A little goes a long way, and the color matching within this concealer brand is spot on. Note: you must color match to your skin tone for the best color. I use “Flesh” tone for my undereyes.

Try this trio and let me know what you think! Cheers to brighter eyes ahead!
