How to Choose The Right Facial Oil

How to Choose The Right Facial Oil

In the spirit of this week's launch, let's talk about all things facial oil!

If you're new to facial oil, it will absolutely change the game for you when it comes to nourishing and hydrating your skin.

First, let's discuss what facial oil is, and how it works.

All of our face oils are formulated with unique blends of natural ingredients, including combinations of Omega 3 fatty acids, Rosehip Seed, Raspberry Seed, Tamanu, Manuka, and Blue Tansy oils to provide a variety of skin benefits from the inside out, including…

1. Reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles

2. Provide antioxidant protection against free radicals

3. Balance excess sebum in oily skin types

4. Visibly hydrate and plump skin

5. Increase skin elasticity and aids in reducing hyperpigmentation

6. Reduce inflammation and restore the skin’s natural lipid barrier

What's the difference between oil and moisturizer?

Think of moisturizers as water for your skin - they're water-based, and when your skin is feeling super dry, they're a great option for replenishing your skins hydration levels.

On the other hand, face oils are more like a superfood for your skin - instead of providing just instant hydration, they provide long-lasting moisture, healing benefits, as well as helping to lock in your previously applied skincare products ingredients.

Both can be a part of supporting healthy, hydrated skin!

So, which oil is right for me?

The key is finding the facial oil that is best for your skin, which is why we offer several different options based on your skin's needs...

Repair Oil is best for oily/blemish-prone skin types in need of antibacterial/
anti-inflammatory support

Revitalize Oil is best for normal skin types in need of antioxidant protection

Recovery Oil is best for overly dry/mature skin types in need of extra fatty acids for a deeper hydration

Just received your oil to use at night. Do I use my regular night moisturizer and then the oil or just the oil after cleansing?
